MEDIA ALERT: LOAD SHEDDING SCHEDULE FOR 2018

MEDIA ALERT: PLANNED EMERGENCY REPAIRS ON THE RANDWATER M2 BULK WATER SUPPLY PIPELINE TO HEIDELBERG AND SURROUNDING.

Lesedi Local Municipality will like to inform residents of a planned emergency repairs on the Randwater M2 bulk water supply pipeline.
This planned emergency repairs emanated from vandalism and theft experienced on the Randwater bulk water supply infrastructure in the vicinity
of Kaydale/Jameson Park.
Randwater has temporarily planned to shut down the M2 bulk water supply pipeline to allow repair works, alternatively the M7 bulk water supply pipeline
will be in use to supply Heidelberg (Main Reservoirs) and Surrounding Areas, residents are therefore requested to store minimal household water for
domestic use and local businesses to reduce their water consumption. The temporary shutdown is planned for Saturday the 17th November 2018 from 09H00
to 16H00.
The municipality further appeals to residents to use the scarce water resource sparingly under the current heat wave conditions, refrain from excessive
water usage, and report all water related queries to our 24Hrs Customer Care Services Centre: 016 330 0400.
